I figured I would blog to let everyone know what we've been up to since we released the reveal trailer for Mech-A-Pult. So without further ado:
I've been working on importing the equipment models into Unity and fitting them to Spencer. As of right now, 4 out of 16 are in the game: the fuzzy pink headband, the quad fan, the hoverboard, and, my favorite, the ham sammich (I just love typing and saying "sammich"). Erik has been programming the menu systems and Anthony has been working on implementing the effects of the objects Spencer can hit during the launch.
After seeing how much we were able to get done this week, we all agree that we can probably finish this game and begin releasing it by the end of June. Now that's just an estimate. It may end up taking us longer, especially if we decide to add more features at launch, but it is definitely an achievable goal.
The other reason I'm posting this blog is because I plan to start vlogging on our YouTube channel eventually (I've only been planning to start since January). The only problem is trying to figure out what to vlog about. I could vlog about how the game's production is going (basically everything above this paragraph in video form), but the video would have only been about a minute long. What I'm thinking is that what would be good for the vlogs is if I would do some sort of Q & A format, but to do that, I need some Qs to A.
What I need from our fans is to ask me some questions. What is it that you want to know about Mech-A-Pult or Lightbulb Industries? You can let me know in 4 ways: commenting on this post, posting on our Facebook page, tweeting us @LBIndustries, or joining our forum and posting questions there. Once I get enough questions or get one or two really good questions that I feel like I can talk about for a while, I'll vlog about it. Subscribe to our YouTube channel so you don't miss a vlog once I start posting them.
